What does co2e.tech do?
co2e.tech provides businesses with a bespoke calculation that depicts exactly how much carbon your IT infrastructure is creating on an annual basis. The result includes both physical and cloud server infrastructure. We have chosen Ecologi as our sustainability partner and you can the co2e.tech forest page to plant trees and offset carbon without a subscription.
How do I know how many Carbon Credits I need to buy?
co2e.tech has a built-in calculator, which allows you to effectively estimate your carbon output. The calculator will translate this output into the number of tonnes that you need to invest in to naturalise your carbon output. You need to take this result to our partner, Ecologi, and use it to make your investment.

Why should I use Co2e.tech?
While the vast majority of companies will rely on technology for their business operations, knowledge around the carbon impact of this technology is still limited. As companies are becoming more sustainably conscious, co2e.tech ’s mission is to empower companies with the knowledge of how much carbon their technology is producing and improving accessibility to neutralising their carbon output. We have done all the complicated math calculations so that you can effortlessly offset your carbon emission with a few simple clicks.
Can I choose what projects I invest in, and what project options are there?
You have the flexibility to select from all Ecologi Climate Projects, including reforestation, blue carbon removal and community-based projects.
What if I don’t know all the information required about my infrastructure?
If you don’t know the answer to some of the questions i.e. how many servers your company has, then you have two options:
- Make an estimate based on other information you know, or,
- Perform a discovery assessment on your environment. The information collected from this will allow you to answer all questions needed to purchase the correct amount of carbon credits. Contact us via email and we can help you to collect a simple device inventory using Block 64.
